I general whales are a perfect concept for Blood Borne. Swimming in the deepest depths, they hide within them the knowledge of the deep sea, which once sheltered and nurtured the great ones. What dark secrets might the dark abyss hide, only by transcribing the songs of the whales can we begin to know.
@jeanetten.s.85573 жыл бұрын
Considering we've seen the moon presence who is both a moon and a great one, perhaps creating the hunter's dream isnt all that the great ones are capable of doing. It may not understand why the change of tides are at all important, the same way we don't understand how the hunter's dream pleases it. But the song of these kin-great ones, these great creatures in touch with the depths of the ocean, are "beautiful" to the awaiting great ones, pleased by their performances and at the call of their kin are convinced to change the tides for them. And isn't it so much like humans to take advantage of this, to record these performances to change the oceans to our pleasures.

Definitely something that could turn out amazing if the developers go the Assassin's Creed route and start doing more culture-themed installments. Like, if Sekiro had Far-East Asia as its inspiration, and Bloodborne was a Lovecraftian take on Victorian England, they could do some sort of Aztec-themed game. Plot could be, an old cult of worshippers of the old Aztec pantheon could be trying to blood-sacrifice the entire country in order to bring about a new era. To stay true to the bleak themes of Soulsborne, no matter what path you take, the ending you get will never be a happy one.

Personally, while I saw a lot of the fishing and nautical based ones as interesting, I personally find the idea of the last one, an industrial revolution focused sequel as the most interesting. God from the Machine, and the fusion of insight, blood, science, and industry into a new kind of eldritch horror that mixes the lovecraftian dread of sea and tide with the grime and horror of industry and the very real and all the more horrifying for it levels of unethical science enacted during that time period. Where the horror of what man makes meshes with things beyond to create things all the more new and terrible.
@SIGNOR-G3 жыл бұрын
I think that we must be carefull with that. Part of the lovecrafitan horror is the fact that it delves in the ancient. I dont know it feels wrong

So just a few thoughts of the final entry 1. I would ABSOLUTELY love Fromsoft to make this a thing, like holy hell this is amazing. 2. I believe the creature in the param is the hunter from Bloodborne as an infant great one still growing, and the scythe taken from gherman as a means of defending her hunter. In contrast maybe her offering the param to fauna is either her giving the infant great one to one of their own kind, or connecting the old hunter's consciousness with their physical form and parting from the dream of loran
@primdans4961 Жыл бұрын
I have another theory though, Fauna is the Hunter from Bloodborne and the tentacled thing in the pram is the Huntaer's and the Doll's child (That's why Fauna has the ring in one of their hands, and why the doll suddenly become more soulles in the end)
