It just makes me that much more excited for the "Shadow of the Erdtree" Elden Ring DLC. The fact FromSoftware has such a great track record with DLC, and it is taking this long tells me it'll be special. And you know it will have a boss that is harder than Malenia as is FromSoftware tradition for their DLC

You can see that he is completely overleveled for the DLC. You can access it after beating Amelia - so its fairly early into the game.

He is not overleveled . He is simply playing smart. I prefer playing the DLC after or just before defeating Mergo wetnurse . If you choose to access the DLC right after Vicar Amelia, be my guest. His gameplay was excellent.
