The whip sword is the threaded cane one of the starting weapons you can buy in shop it's pretty good scales with skill so should work with your current build

Just finished the game I enjoyed it, althought I skipped a LOT of optional areas and bosses Tyt exploring everythinh, literally, if you keep for later you probably will forget about it
