This just made me imagine the keyblade went "Wait your Dad is so and so? Well, why didn't you say so? Of course, you can wield me now. Your dad and I go way back."

In the post credits scene of DR, it first said that Ephemer was Xehanort's great-great grandfather. But in an update it changed it to say that he shares a bloodline with him. I don't think he's ephemer's son but he def is a descendant. That then turns to question over to who his mom is (Like is she skulds descendant or like her we didn't know about's sisters descendant). Cause then it also turns into like, did skuld come to scala before becoming subject X assuming she is subject X. It's trippy when you start diving into it

I didn't realize that, that's interesting. Almost like a cover up or something, but all things considered aging in this series is very awkward with people like Ven running around being God knows how old but still remaining 15

I'm also a little torn with this new concept as much as I want to like it, but here me out: I think Sora will STILL be just a normal kid chosen by the keyblade by accident and not by nepotism or however people call it, but it could help clear out other characters!

I think that’s how they’re going to keep it because whenever Nomoura describes Sora he’s said to be a normal boy. This is further proven by MX in DDD saying this and Nomoura confirming Ventura’ heart did not allow Sora to wield the keyblade and I’m very happy despite all the messy story changes they’re keeping that important detail about Sora

Yeah I prefer it that the keyblade chosen him by accident rather than it being destiny😅

@@gracekim1998 Well it was never an accident, Riku didn’t have a strong heart because he gave into darkness so they keyblade went to the person with the stronger heart which was Sora

I hope that the player character of Kingdom Hearts Union Cross and Kingdom Hearts missing ink is Sora's great grandfather or something like that.

i absolutely agree, the way i see it a keyblade shouldn't be earned by nepotism, but rather the fact that a character is true to themselves (which you can also think as the strength of their hearts), that way a good guy, a bad guy and a nobody call all weild them without contradictions. i could even elaborate on this if the opportunity presents itself.

I do believe it’s confirmed that the black haired woman in dark road is not Skuld, but is related to her in an interview. And in addition, I think it was also confirmed Ephemer is Xehanort’s grandfather. Theres also speculation on if Brain is Eraqus’s Grandfather since Eraqus canonically does come from a line of keyblade wielders and uses Master’s defender, among other things. I don’t remember everything, but it is worth putting more research into.

Honestly I think nept is Isa's Ancestor Because that seems like a red herring twist Nomura likes to do Plus nept Friendship with the red hand guy ( Can't spell his name) Is pretty similar to lea and Isa friendship so far

@@KeyofTime15 Also Neptune (at least the Japanese reading name of the planet Neptune (海王星, Kaiousei "Sea King Star) So there are naming themes of sea (i.e kairi and aqua) and that of Noctis and Yozora (King and Star.)

WE WOULD KNOW IF NOMURA RELEASES KINGDOM HEARTS MISSING LINK ALREADY! I’m so sick and tired of waiting while other (the same) countries get to beta it. I want my own experience not to watch KZbinrs. Every event goes by and we are disappointed AGAIN AND AGAIN when we get zero KINGDOM HEARTS CONTENT!! (Not counting Geoff’s KINGDOM mention) plus it’s raining more and more here so I wouldn’t want to play outside with the game while heavy drops of rain land on my screen. /rant over. I’d say they’re related and can’t wait to find out more
