Music has a big influence! I was 17yrs old when me and my homeboys were listening to this album bangin on wax! the same day we decided to rob another teen for is money! This robbery went very wrong and my best friend from the sand box end up killing this teenage boy! We were on the run from the police for a little while, and my homeboy decided to turn himself in to the police! He confessed to the shooting and took full responsibility himself! His confession is the only reason I didn't spend the majority of my life in prison! This incident happened in the early 90s and looking back on it, I think the music played a big factor on where our mindset was at the time! My friend just got out of prison 2yrs ago! He was 47 at the time of his release! He went in at 17yrs old! Music can't make you commit crimes, but young boys who don't have their fathers in their lives will be very impressionable by this kind of music!
