Once again, these old CF songs sound so much better in D standard than the B standard that Triptykon usually uses. I feel they're even tighter now than CF was in their reunion tour. Martin is sorely missed, but I'm glad Tom isn't shying away from his legacy and embracing everything from old CF to Hellhammer these days. Now, if only they played more from Into the Pandemonium...

Regarding tuning, that may be true, however lowered and slowed down Procreation of the Wicked (eg. from Wacken 2011) was, well, wicked. I consider this performance to be far better than the original.

I onced was a bit of an instructor of hers when she was an apprentice in the company I worked. Very nice woman she's grown into, which was easily foreseeable ;-) . We went to see Slipknot together and stuff. Happy to see her doing that sound and all.

damn Grossmann is really nailing those grooves. obviously these songs should be pretty simple for a musician of his ability, but it takes a different skill to nail those mid pace grooves, while playing it with actual feel and not just with robot precision

A really good set, but for me the best was Wacken 2006 when still Celtic Frost. The truly heavy, black, grinding rawness sounded like a direct transmission from Hell. This video is a must see.
