Why anyone would need these songs timestamped is beyond me. Start at the beginning ame watch all the way through. Repeat often. Mastodon in such a small venue would be amazing. 50 lucky MoFo's in that place on that night.

It is really sad that we will never hear Scott on another release. Yeah, he is a destroyer, but a wicked vocalist. It has really killed me reading about how he interacted with the closest to him. Really sad all around.

He's the only player I've ever seen that truly reminds me of Eddie Van Halen. Everything he does is flawless, looks effortless, doesn't overplay during solos, and their rhythm playing is as good as Malcolm Young, Keith Richards, or James Hetfield. All those 80's shredders that tried ripping off Eddie were mostly shit at rhythm and songwriting and were just good at playing solos that now just seem lame and dated.

The only unledgibal signature on the poster done on the bus when my boy was the tour bus driver is Troy, "I'm too good for this" Sanders. You can read Brann, Bill, and Brent's signatures, but Troy can give two fucks less because he is a superstar! His brother Darren was way cooler than him, and he was just the tour manager. I saw these guys for the first proper time just this sunday, in Norway (where I'm from), and it was something else man. Been one of mye absolute favourite bands for years, and they just crushed it live. Almost passed out from how great a time I was having when they started blasting out Iron Tusk, March of The Fire Ants and so on. It peaked when they brought out Scott Kelly, and maaaan, that guy sounds even better live than he does on the albums. His screams just seemed to pierce right into my soul (or something), and I got shivers and goosebumps when he belted out the verses on Crack The Skye. Just an all round life enriching experience to see these absolute masters of their craft at work! Hope I´ll get to see them again soon, cannot wait for the new album.

Of course they sound amazing with Scott, Scott is great and they’ve all been super good friends for a very long time, he’s performed a ton with them over the years. That’s why he does vocals on pretty much 1 song on every album, then when they’re together for a show they will bring out Scott to perform some of the songs they did together. They’re a perfect combo together, honestly makes me wish Scott joined the band official. He’s basically the unofficial 5th member, can’t wait for the new album later this month, I’m gonna assume Scott does vocals on 1 song so that will prob be dope
