It’s heartbreaking that you had to leave the continent just to be treated like a human being instead of being gaslit and dismissed. I genuinely hope that if you’re able to get pregnant, you can have your labor and delivery experience in Germany. You already know how things are here in the U.S., where women often face dismissal and if you’re a Black woman, it’s even worse. It’s just an absolute mess.

Healthcare for black women is just so sad. As if we don’t fight enough for other things.. trying to be healthy is another that just is so heartbreaking
