When I first heard of TEB, at a random picnic in 2001, I don't think I really understood the fucked upness of the this band. And now, here I am, 2023, an old man. Really appreciating the lyrics of every single song. Fuck.

Reminds me of high school. Me and my friends used to party in a vacant gravel parking lot. I heard this song 15 years ago and it's still in my top 10 favorites. Great band

One of those songs you come to know and love if you bought the album and listened to the whole thing
@bg3098 Жыл бұрын
This was just an instrumental on the album as the record label didn't want them to release it. They released the version with lyrics on the deluxe edition later.

I cant play this song these days, my cousin's nephew's former roommate's dog died last week. The dog's name was Amber, and the lyrics ruby red were in this song. And red is a color, so is Amber, oh god, I can't keep it together.

Third Eye Blind is an awesome band with a lot of haters. Are they they the "greatest" band? No. But they are awesome. I think a lot of people just don't get them because they confuse their style with a lot of similar bands that aren't nearly as good.
@Hanson0323 жыл бұрын

Sorry but brendon Uries cover is better I know this is the og but he's not much of a vocalist
@Kaos13826 жыл бұрын
Brendon's cover is amazing I agree. However there's something beautiful about this version. The rasp in his voice, singing from an actual perspective. We shouldn't worry about who sang it better, rather, we should glamorize that either way, this is art, and even though he isn't a vocalist, his song still has meaning.
@deemadill80945 жыл бұрын
The only reason I know this song is because of brendon uries cover and honestly his version is better. He gives more life to the song
@Jplp56434 жыл бұрын
Dee Madill You’ve obviously never heard the original. Fuck off with that shit.
@tylerreynolds88323 жыл бұрын
That’s just laughable. Brendan and his band are talentless compared to Stephen and TEB 😂 they couldn’t even come close to writing a song to contest this one lyrically and musically. PATD, Fallout Boy, Boys like girls, they’re all the same mediocre bands.
@nickmiles28623 жыл бұрын
You are mistaken.
