People died over grain....no gold no silver no diamonds ...grain. It shows the evolution of evil over a food resource...i like this movie an alot of Chinese movie..they show how difficult it was just being a Chinese

Amazing movie, i followed it from start to end. The goodness won through in the end, though i venture to suggest, it didn't always finish like that in real life history. There is a lot of evil out there in the world. Robert. New Zealand. Veteran Soldier.

I so badly wanted to like this movie but how can I like that which requires one to suspend belief because it's so grossly stupid. I never know soldiers armed with bows and arrows keep it slung over their shoulders in battle. The main reason for bows is to kill the enemies from a distance before they are close enough for the spears or the swords.
