I was so hyped when I saw a Bloody Bunny game and I was hoping for something more high octane in the same vein as Bayonetta’s or DMC’s combat.

I was wondering about this one due to liking action. The aesthetic looked interesting as well. But it’s a shame that it doesn’t really live up to the standard of most of these games. I might pick this one up on a discount. Thanks for the review.

I went into it blind as well. I saw a few review. all average to slightly above. for $10 I thought it was worth a try. this reviewer said most of what I'd say. nothing to add other than I don't regret my purchase and I'm having fun with it.

Speaking as someone who enjoyed The First Blood (the version of Bloody Bunny that this game is based on; there's actually multiple Bloody Bunny series), I really like this game. It's pretty awesome to explore a playable version of this world, and I love games that let you dart around your opponents in combat and strike them down with a brutal finisher. However, I will admit that it's a bit rough around the edges. The graphics aren't that great, the camera could use some work, the platforming is a bit wonky, and would it have killed them to give Bunny a double jump? Still, $9.99 is the opposite of a demanding price, especially for a game like this, so, I guess "You get what you pay for" applies. Overall, if I had to describe this game in one sentence, it would be, "A sharp blade that could use some polishing".

Dude did you actually manage to beat this game? First of all you can upgrade your boomerang and throwing knives to where they are useful in combat. Trust me I had to do that in order to beat the last two bosses. Yeah I agree the counter system isn’t really helpful especially when you are swarmed by a group of enemies whom will pound you til you’re a puddle of piss. But here is my strategy upgrade your boomerang skills. Mainly boomerang armor which will allow you to form a circle of boomerangs around you. It’ll definitely help you. I mean I agree to an extent that the combat does get repetitive, but overall the game is alright for what it is. Even though it is hard as hell, especially the saw blade level on the train. Dear Christ that killed me. But nice review man, I am working on editing my review for this game as well and watching this certainly helps me get a perspective even though I don’t think the game is as mediocre as you say it is. I have played a lot worse, I mean I enjoyed this game for what it is and I guess it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But seriously I have to ask did you actually beat this game? Because this is a really tough game like relentlessly tough. I did manage to beat it and unlock endless mode and there is a level select after you beaten the game. But yeah that’s really all I have to say. Nice review man. Note: I just realized you were trans and I am really sorry if I offended you. I’m not trying to be offensive or anything. I just say things off the top of my head. I guess I didn’t realize you were trans. I’m a new viewer by the way.

I actually pumped alot of my upgrades into making my sword more powerful and having more health. Yes! That saw blade level is brutal. I couldn't believe someone thought that was fun. The games not THAT hard though in my opinion. Some of the bosses as you mentioned were pretty annoying. Appreciate you watching and best of luck with the review friend!

@@IDreamofIndie I’m sorry I didn’t realize you were trans. But yeah I plan to cover everything. I mean upgrading the sword upgrade is nice and kinda helpful and all but what I found just as helpful is upgrading that boomerang. Also the game is filled with bugs and sometimes the cutscenes will freeze. So yeah there is a lot polish needed. Also if you think the early bosses are cheap wait til you face against the final bosses. That’s where the game will throw everything at you. But also there is one thing you didn’t mention in this review and that is the fact if you beat the game you unlock endless mode which is basically just an enemy rush mode. Yet it’s not really endless because there is 50 levels. Which I laugh at the fact they call it endless mode.

I am a small reviewing channel trying to push as much content as I can. I love watching other people to get a different perspective to my own. It's nice to see a different take on the game. The thing though about the endless mode is it's mentioned in the press kit so thats why I mention that and plus devs wanted me to talk about it as they mentioned in the email exchanges I had with them. Also they told me that I had to be objective and thats the only criticism they can take. Which I feel like that's the wrong approach to take as a developer. You wanna hear all feedback, not just the objective ones. I mean regardless if they like it or not I'm going to be both objective and subjective.

this game is not so good for several reasons, is more like a fan game made by 2 guys not a game made by a company that work for a big company, but the perry stuff and the different combo that buff the stats, are nice the game have the perfect difficulty not easy but not hard core for 10 euro's that i think is like 13 dollar's is a good game and as a fan that buy bloody bunny stuff im fucking happy to play this game, but as a gamer i hate this game because they have different combo's, dodge's, counter attack's but you dont have a style counter for the combo's like dmc or stuff, that repay your skills variety, and that is a poor error, you can play only with the blade and finish a level with S, this dont have any sense.
