Love this show. Phantom Traveler was there first attempts at really upping rhe comedy and I love it. They do a great job balancing horror, drama, and comedy so the episodes stay fresh. Bloody Mary is one of the creepiest for me, though i have never actually found a Supernatural episode scary. Sam let his guilt overwhelm him. Truth is they both have so many secrets around death either could have summoned her. That is why Dean bleeds too, not just because she is free. Also Sam had no idea his visions might be real until she died. They were getting very serious in their relationship. It would make sense stress might trigger dreams about past trauma and apply it to her. He knew the details of his mom's death. The fact they know so much about the supernatural world might make him less likely to believe he was suddenly psychic. They have ways to prove it and until Jess died he had zero evidence to take the dream seriously.

Plane doors do in fact get shut but not locked. Because of how the frame is designed, the door pushes outwards against it once the plane is pressurized for flight. And you're not pulling it open against that atmosphere, no sir.
