I used a store bought variation of this wooly bugger and had a great time on many large brook trout.. Now I will take your advice and tie my own! Thanks for the great tutorial.

hey man , you should wrap some line under the tail , so when wet doesnt wrap around the hook , easier for the new tiers , if not tied high enough , norvern07 keep a tight line

I used to, but noticed it restricts the movement in the water.
