Bloody WOOLY BUGGER

The most versatile streamer to have in your box is the Wooly Bugger. This specific pattern I refer to as the "Bloody Bugger" has been tremendously successful for me for steelhead and trout.
RECIPE:
HOOK: Size 10 streamer hook
BEAD: 3.2mm red tungsten
THREAD: 70D in colour red
TAIL: Black marabou
ABDOMEN: Black/Red Simi Seal dubbing
RIB: X-Small red wire
HACKLE: Black rooster

I tie a pink and white #2 long shank and cast at night for trout under my dock lights lit from below shining up and dock lights shinning downward for 32 years. This shows how come you miss strikes. I live on St. John’s river in jax Fla … I like your tiring methods 😊

hey man , you should wrap some line under the tail , so when wet doesnt wrap around the hook , easier for the new tiers , if not tied high enough , norvern07 keep a tight line
