Kinda funny that Marry Poppins is in this video because that was back when live action and Disney didn't automatically make people see red. And honestly Marry Poppins is just as whimsical and timeless as a lot of Disney's animated stuff at the time.

@@trixxart777 You're completely missing the point. The problem is not with live action movies. It's with live action "REMAKES" with shitty CGI and no heart, that are purely there as a quick cash grab for lazy and nostalgic parents. The first Mary Poppins movie was an original piece of cinema, not a another cash grab using nostalgia as a bait.

The way he literally mixes random lines from Disney’s songs is amazing. Everything just fits, and if you pay attention, you can hear the instrumental part of the original musics in the background, it’s so simple and yet so complex.

Zzarillo I like to do both when drawing. My main characters are the ones who show up the most and the ones I have to draw most frequently. So they designs are very simple. "Good Disney" is the Disney we have now. Yucky stuff like Peter Pan, or Sleeping Beauty should be forgotten, given how disgustingly racist and boring they were respectively. Pretty much any modern Disney movie besides the snorefest that was Raya is better than any of these. Except Cinderella, Cinderella is based.
@alicecheshire4806 Жыл бұрын
@@imthecoolestguyalive What was racist in Sleeping Beauty? What was racist in Alice in Wonderland? What was racist Snow White? Jungle Book? Hunchback of Notre Dame? Hell, Princess and the Frog! The animation back then was beautiful; it was as if it was out of a painting. The stories were heartwarming, like the inner workings of a storybook. Not everything was catered to fit “political correctness” and no agendas were involved, so the writers could actually do what they wanted without getting sent to sociological guillotine. No, it doesn’t need be forgotten, especially not just because you don’t like it. The animation now looks lazy. I can say the stories are okay, I guess. If you like it, fine, you have a right to do so, but nothing you say can convince me that old Disney was bad; I grew up on it and it has inspired me to be the artist I am today. It was back when people had the backbone to enjoy themselves.
@imthecoolestguyalive Жыл бұрын
@@alicecheshire4806 Well, if this is the kind of media that "made you who you are today", then, I guess, you would be unwilling to learn the violent racism and horrible treatment of the Romani in Hunchback, or the vilification of African traditions in Princess And The Frog as well as the literal dehumanisation of the protagonists, or the disgusting anti-semitism in every other Disney villain design. Let alone grow up, and watch something wonderful 2D animation airing today, like The Owl House, or Bob's Burgers, or Cartoon Saloon's upcoming projects. You're just comfortable in your infantile ignorance, and who am I, a silly youngling, to educate an adult, and tell them to grow up and use their brain for once. Apologies for interrupting your little parade, feel free to remain comfortable, ignorant, and never for a moment think you or the cartoons you like might be wrong about something.

1:45 - 2:03 is my favorite part. The way Mary Poppins sings harmoniously with the choir from Alice. It sounds like a masterpiece like no other. I can't even describe how much i love that part. It's like an out of body experience for me. Like heaven.

I'm 37. It's September 12 2022... I don't know what in the KZbin/Internet algorithms lead to me finding this, stumbling upon it, having it randomly show up for me, but I am twitterpated!!! Never heard anything like this before. Never heard of this creator. Never seen any of their videos... but I am obsessed from the get-go. This was the most fantastic introduction to my new infatuation. Holy &#*$

My sister first introduced me to this song when I was a senior in high school. In the 11 years since, we've both had our ups and downs with mental health. But this song never fails to make me feel that childlike sense of wonder it inspired just before I became an adult.

What the lyrics sound like to me : You hear that Samson? Beautiful... Your heart loves Whether you lie apart-or-far, though You'll begin to turn So funny Find me, go back Your heart must find me (Oooohhh~) If you keep running Your heart loves Whether you lie apart-or-far, though You'll begin to turn Oh, funny Find me, go back Your heart must find me (Oooohhh~) If you keep running You're a fool (All things go free) You are free (Never been before) You're afraid (Dig Dig Dig) (Breaking) You are free Your heart loves Whether you lie apart-or-far, though You'll begin to turn Oh, funny Find me, go back Your heart must find me (Oooohhh~) If you keep running Your heart loves Whether you lie apart-or-far, though You'll begin to turn Oh, funny Find me, go back Your heart must find me (Oooohhh~) If you keep running
