I have to agree with you Dan. The hype on this set is not being met with what is being delivered. Some of those most anticipated Mythic rares in the set (ie. Lumra) are already at $6 or $7 and we are not even at release. I will say it was a lot of fun to play limited, but you're right, there is not really any chase cards. Even the Raised foils are tribal type cards that will only find niche places to be played. I'm sure some cards in the set will be functional cards in new builds, and will likely drive some prices up from previous sets like WOE. Lastly, the remakes of the planeswalkers will likely do well because the set has great art, and the 3 tree land will likely become a staple but Overall, yes, you are correct. the set does not seem to meet the hype at all.

Unfortunately I feel like they are going to go down considerably. The "chase" cards are already dropping in price and it's still several days before release.

Draft boosters became Play booster. Just a gimmick by wotc.

I only purchase Collectors these days. Wait…that’s a lie. I purchase at least two Play boxes for display. I haven’t opened any since Booster and Set boxes disappeared.

Can’t afford sealed product and the risks that come with it anymore really I just buy the singles I want not even at market lows just my new way of being in the game

My box was absolutely dismal. Only 3 mythics and no Three Tree City. They 100% short printed the elemental beast mythics, as well. Seems like you barely ever see them opened in these videos.

Dont worry you did not get an abysmal one, they reworked the box to be identical to draft booster box 😢, but that my opinion...
