I just recently the returned to the mobile arena game and I'm struggling as well. Most of my cards are no longer valid in any of the format types I like to play. And I'm so confused now at how this all works. And how to get the new cards efficiently.

This will be my first time buying a preorder bundle, very excited about Ral and building around him! I’ve been able to get pretty high completion rates on new sets being F2P, hopefully the preorder bundle is the little boost I need to go infinite lol.

I always get the mastery pass, but after a few expansions I have stopped getting other bundles, as I’ve always got more gold and wildcards than I know what to do with. Half way though an expansion I stop buying packs with gold and save to toward the next expansion. This time I’ve got 97k gold which is nuts.

@@jspring9588 I doubt I’ll spend 100k on this expansion. I think I spent less than 50k on Outlaws. I have so many wild cards I tend to just use them on decks I want.

So I'm a returning player and most of the cards I have are from the older sets and are no longer valid in most formats. What is the best way for me to get some good cards to build new decks? Because with the limited cards I have I'm getting destroyed and it becomes disheartening when you win one out of every 40 games 😢

@@jspring9588 spent 90,000 in gold to get 90 packs plus the 2 cards bundle. Went from 5.9% (from the intro bonus packs?) to 54.2% completion of Bloomburrow, and I think about 25 rare and 25 mythic wildcards (approx). I had about 113k gold before buying. Saving for interesting cosmetics and next expansion.

I have piled up 75k in gold. I’ll probably buy both the preorder for packs and mastery pass. I wonder if I should buy all OTJ packs because of the big score value or it’s not worth it and I should buy all bloom and use wildcards I get to complete whatever I need for decks (I haven’t been impressed by the cards in bloom for blue control player which is another reason I’m doubting). Thanks !

@@alaingamache3908 there probably isn't that much difference in buying loads of OJT or Bloomburrow packs, you'll still get a good number of wildcards from them and can probably craft anything else you want from those. Although if you're already planning on buying 50 Bloomburrow packs, it might make slightly more sense to get more OTJ packs now 🤷‍♂️

Im waiting for this post. The 50 dollars seems to be the best value if your wife has no access to your bank account transaction. Kidding aside, the one with the mastery pass is okay and grind to get more coins. The standard meta will shift to different archetypes so I will wait and see before putting too much money on the game.

@@jamiewillis3905 anywhere above 30 usually puts you into profit, although it might be earlier with the Bloomburrow pass because it's so short.

You're absolutely correct on the bundles being worth it. Drafting's one of the best ways to build your collection if you opt not to buy too many packs. I like the Mastery pass due to the cosmetic choices. I rarely buy any, so I just take what I can get. Like any other player who budgets, I recommend this: Buy $20 worth of gems every week and save them. Pretend they don't exist. By the time a new set drops, you can typically buy the bundles and at the same time, buy more packs/ cosmetics as desired if you're going for set completions. With saving gems between LCI and OTJ, I splurged more on OTJ (300+ packs) due to the Big Score bonus sheet and made out pretty well. My mythic wildcards, on the other hand, not so much. That did so much damage to everyone. 🤣 This later part of the year's going to be rough with Bloomburrow, Duskmourn, and Foundations all releasing within months of one another. I really enjoyed your video, sir. Please keep up your amazing content!
