1pm Solo fishing session offshore, why not!
After last weeks snapper adventure with tuna man Rob, I thought I would go back to see if the snapper actually held in that area of the reef or if it was a one-off!
There was a crazy algae bloom happening in the ocean which was spectacular to see, and honestly I thought there would be no fish because the water was packed with specs.
One thing led to another as it always does, and I found myself off Bondi.
Then the SNAPEPR fishing began!

Another cracking video Mel. I was out fishing at the same time you filmed this (last Friday) but up in Broken Bay and the Hawkesbury. It was a great afternoon and evening to be on the water. As for the cleaning facilities at the foreshore, do the taps run okay or are they too weak to clean the crap off the table? I hate when fishos leave it messy like that. Thanks again.

Good session. Make sure you travel with the black height collar adjusted in the travel position on the Minn Kota and you won’t have that problem. A Lecky leg would help support it to.

They lock the gates all along the beach carparks between kyeemagh thru to dolls point to stop them hoons congregating, give you a tip, don’t stay Novotel Brighton on a Friday-Saturday night, bays street is like a drag strip, horrible people ruin life for everyone else. Thank good the club is still 24hr, ❤️

Hi Mel watched every episode right from your start , what a long way you have come I sit and watch with my 9 year old grandson .he fishes out side with me when he's down for a visit. Always used Plastics or burly and floating baits . after watching you on tube .It's never to late to try something new lol , So i will go out and buy a couple of Hell Cat Rigs { Do you recommend any special colour ? } you never to old to learn something new .Thanks for sharing Mel. Very nice session Mel. Ive only just recently started boat fishing myeslf not confident enough yet to go outside the heads but soon hopefully. I was out in the Bay on Monday caught 20 fish not 1 keeper, but to be fair 10 of those were and assortment of Port Jackson, shovel nose and Banjo's.

Hey Mel, just be cautious about the whales. They’re doing their southern migration with their calves at the moment. The mums and babiies tend to stay close to shore and stop to rest in coves and bays. It’s estimated somewhere around 50000 whales will migrate along the east coast this year. Love your work mate.
