Bloomington is cute. Especially the area around Penn and 78th and further South. I live in Linden Hills, and if we can't leave Minnesota, we'll move to Bloomington.

I was in mall of America once. I'm from a small town in northeast Tennessee. There's nothing like that here. It's huge and has everything in one mall

@@amethystkat8724 I can see that being anyones favorite place to shop. It is Gigantous. Im quite sure I stuck out like a sore thumb while I was in that place. My hillbilly accent carries quite far sometimes. Especially when I seen that place had a full-sized water ride inside the building lol. Ive never been to Southdale. Do you have a video of that place?

The mall is only good for walking in the winter. With Amazon there is no reason to shop there unless you want to pay more. There is more crime there and it is now overrun by wannabe gangsters

I grew up in Bloomington in the 80s, it is not what it once was. Don't live there, overpriced homes that are outdated and small called ramblers. East bloomington is ghetto, I moved south of the river to savage. Look for homes in Savage or Shakopee

I would say that a lot of homes are overpriced 😂, but Savage and Shakopee are nice if you don't mind being a tiny bit farther from the city.

@@KaraCleveland Bloomington East to west is absolutely massive but technically shakopee and Bloomington are geographic neighbors via the MN River

What do you mean by 'ghetto'? I guess I also live in a ghetto...East St Paul. Paid $154k for my house, now worth $225k 5 years later. No commute across that damn river every day. Never been robbed or shot. Kid about to graduate from Harding. All in ghetto.

@@hibbo1351 wouldn’t really say east Bloomington is “ghetto”. It’s just outdated housing options. Small lots. The high school is decades outdated (Kennedy). Seems pretty safe though. Ghetto is not the word I would use. Overall just outdated, mostly.
