BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 But 100x Bloons! You've seen what happens when you 10x the amount of bloons, but what about 100 times? Well, lots of lag that's for sure. To compensate we must also increase the cash multiplier by a little bit and limit the amount of infinite pierce towers; here's how that went.

I think ISAB intentionally avoided infinite pierce towers to make things more interesting, and Pre-emptive kind of fits the bill, since no matter what, it will hit every blimp.

On rounds like 63, ray of doom one-shots the ceramics entirely, so only one pierce is used up per bloon*. It also ticks really fast. By the time the last ceram of each wave is in the beam the first two thousand have died. Edit* fixing error for clarity

the minimum pierce that can be used up per tick is 100, as each group of 100 bloons spawns in the exact same tick, but yeah, the point still stands

Yeah so it basically just needs to tick 4 times for each ceramic clump on 63. Kills it pretty quickly

this gives me an idea: NK should add a bloon like this, where in it consumes lots of pierce, but its only 1 bloon, if that makes sense. obv it should be optimized for performance so that game shouldn't see it as a 100 bloons. this bloon type could act as a shield for other bloons

Would be an amazing boss idea! It takes damage from up to 100 pierce (and has like x50 the health to compensate). Meaning the meta "T1 sticky bomb, T2 MAD" just wouldn't work, and instead incentvize stuff like Ground Zero

There is a shielded bloon on the game files (it has a shield that consumes infinite pierce, only takes 1 damage to destroy the shield then it becomes a regular bloon)

Just a fun fact, ROD's pierce is so high that if you popped 98 entirely into ceramics all at once, it still wouldn't get pierce capped.

TBH with this video in mind, it's clear Glaive Lord is very powerful but it's almost impossible to see its full power since when are you ever going to have 1000 bloons in one spot? I'd probably give it the same treatment as Ring of Fire where i'd increase its damage and take away a bunch of pierce, so it's a bit more effective against stronger bloons.

random idea: pierce and damage have swapped values, so for example ice tower can pop 1 bloon at a time, but deals 40 damage, but then high damage stuff will have a crap ton of pierce instead could be fun when combined with x10 hp, x10 bloons and mastery mode

You can easily get 50k for temple sacrifices with the legend of the night for magic and then super mines and monkey wallstreet for support. And place 5th tier primary towers like bloon crush, inferno ring, plasma monkey fanclub, moab domination and bomb blitz until you think it's worth 50k

Ofc pierce limits being hit would have to cause a bloon stack to split into a glued and a non glued stack, and different statuses mix them up too. The more identical bloon states there are, the more effective the system would be. It'd be great for all the pinks and under, which are usually 1hp/layer and come in hundreds as moabs are popped.
