For anyone curious about the unhinged comment about 7k7k, I had to look into who/what 7k7k was and how they could have possibly pissed off someone on the team that much. All I can find is that 7k7k is a popular Chinese casual browser game website. So I can only imagine at least someone on the team was pissed off that 7k7k was hosting BTD without their permission or maybe they were developing knock off Bloons games or were competition is some sense. How that makes it into the game file’s though, is pretty crazy.

As a Chinese viewer, I can confirm your findings. 7k7k is a website that collects all kinds of flash games, and while some of those games are original and legit, many of those are private copies of foreign flash games, and in this case, the BTD series. In fact, another website named 4399 is the largest and most famous free flash game website in China, several times larger than 7k7k, and of course it also upload the private BTD games on it. Ironically, I would never know games like BTD without those websites in my childhood. I certainly despise their privating actions, but I have to say those websites are the only way that children in China can play foreign flash games.

Fun Fact: 9:45 BTD6 has this exact Achievement where you have to complete 365 daily challenges except that it's called "The Daily Reid" in BTD6 and you don't have to do the challenges consecutively. BTD6 also has an Achievement for opening the Daily Chest 365 times called "A Year in the Making".

An important difference is that BTD6 actually has 2 daily challenges per day (+the co-op challenges on Wednesdays and Sundays) leading to the speed of doing 365 of them being more than doubled.

The Spiky ball tower was removed because Tack Shooter existed. I believe the Spiky ball purpose was later used for Blade shooter where in later games such as BTD5 you can have tack sprayer that allows tack to spot 16 Tacks instead of 8. And blade shooter kept the 8 Tacks but 2 pierce. 12:30 This part of the projectiles not appearing in BTD5 are what looks like early concepts that were implemented in BTD6. Because you can see mortar shooting and then the shell dropping, the same with Nuke or (GZ and Tsar)

I freaked out, but then looked it up and found it'd been replaced by the Steam version. So, I bought that, and RIP to the old tracks that never came back.. I was actually upset by that as a kid.

I looked into it, it was so shockingly easy to find by googling that I’m surprised it didn’t make it into a video. 7k7k is a popular Chinese browser game website really only three options I can think of. 7k was either hosting BTD without permission and that pissed them off. Maybe 7k was making knockoff BTD games and hosting them also pissing them off. Or lastly maybe they just viewed 7k as some sort of competition
