I'm so going to miss This Country, I honestly could happily have watched it for years as they made their way through life. Just outstanding talent & thank you so, so, much for making me laugh until I literally cried and could hardly breathe at times. This Country needs to go down in history as pure comedy genius. There's never been a show like it & I don't think anything will ever come anywhere near it. Simply awesome 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I know how you feel. It’s tragic that I ended. I felt bereaved. Every month or so I watch it on I player and still laugh , even though I know every word of every episode. It cheers me up. It’s an absolute tonic! I’ve been to Northleach and visited most of the hallowed spots. I nearly went and knocked on’Mandy’’s door, but chickened out. Best program on any TV channel in the world EVER! I can’t see me changing my mind any time soon. Don’t despair, there’s lots of us out here for you.

I agree, the more I watch it the more I notice little things I missed. When vicar was telling the story of his dad 'bullying' him...its all very sombre...then as he finishes..the camera pans to the little dancing policeman on the dashboard. So subtle...I nearly collapsed. 😁

I love it so much I went down there. Took the train to Cheltenham, stayed in a BnB and took the bus to Northleach. Had a fab day , visited all the sites and ended up in The Keeper’s before getting the bus back. A fantastic day - loved it. Best comedy show ever! Best programme EVER! Seen every episode at least 20 times. It’s still on I player but I took no chances and bought the box set of DVDs. They’ll be with me forever.
