No because I have seen it done in a coffee machine. You just need a water bath at a consistent temperature to sous vide something

And the Flat Iron Panini Press is alright if that Iron is purchased and used for Food ONLY!!! I haven't even finished the video yet. I just had to Put The Brakes On! CAUTION!!! Food Safety is #1 in my Kitchen. Don't risk your health for a short-cut.✌️

the dishwasher salmon is fine as long as the jar was sealed - we cook sausages in foil around the engine when we drive through outback QLD. It works well if they are also sealed in foil. Else you get diesel fumes in them.

People have been using Gourds and Specifically pumpkins as cooking vessels for thousands of years. So maybe not so much a hack as it is a eons old tradition. But very effective.

The toast would be burnt on top, those noodles would look like egg drops if you were lucky, the yogurt and flour bagels wouldn't be airy whatsoever, the instant potatoes would taste really weird because of the fat and salt content, I could go on. But they don’t mention how that ruins your baking sheets to use it on an open flame. They aren’t made for that and it’s dangerous! Very dangerous! My sister did that instead of using a pan and it’s scorched top and bottom and warped. She still has yet to replace it as she promised she would.
