SWEET travelall! My 12v 1gen engine is going in my 1970 Travelette (IH Crew Cab). Actually going to chassis swap the whole thing. 2nd gen roller will be axles and frame.

Did you detach the fuel hose going into the lift pump to keep it from pumping fuel into those injector lines while you did the test?

I fear hitting checking the fan when checking blow by. The last 12 valve I bought after the test drive I grabbed a set of pliers to take the oil fill cap off. I’d rather pliers get in a fight with the fan than my fingers

How did you do the compression test without having fuel fly everywhere? I’ve been told not to run the pump dry?

All you have to do is unplug the fuel shutoff solenoid on the injection pump. When that doesn't have ignition power it will not allow fuel to flow through or out of the pump, without it being dry at all.
