Gorgeous hair!! I am recently embracing my texture because OMG it's so much easier on a day to day basis. I used to blow dry with a round brush 1-2 times a week, sooo much work, it was ridiculous. I love how you have embraced your hair - I am learning how to do the same.

you inspire me so much! I've tried going natural so many times and I always give up because my heart wasn't really in it, but you have really made me want to stick to it! Not just to retain length and to be apart of the "natural hair trend" now; but to transform my whole lifestyle. Having healthy hair starts with a healthy body and I now realize that so thank you so much Whitney for being amazing! You help people in so many ways that you don't even know!!!!

I would suggest if you have an oil-based leave-in or some coconut oil, you could put a little of that on your hair when detangling, just so the hair isn't so dry but doesn't shrink.

I've watched the end part of this video, where you flip your hair, at least 5 times now. That hair is mesmerizing.
@HadassahSikani11 жыл бұрын
Here's a tip- when I start out to detangle my dry hair without water like you had there after an old stretched out style, I spread melted raw shea butter all throughout my hair, cover with a plastic cap and light scarf then sit under a little heat for just 5-10 minutes. This basically helps the butter melt into each strand and make dry detangling a breeze! And you end up with a very soft and fluffy blowout.

***** Ah... I wish it did. My hair has pretty much always been bra strap length but I used to damage it so bad with texlaxing AND bleaching it took me 2 whole years to get it healthy again, and now, I'm only starting to grow it. Still bra strap length. (I had to trim the damaged ends) So it really depends on how damaged your hair is.

I'm a young black male and I have a flat top, one day my mom blowed out my hair and it got really tall because it was stretched out but still afro texture which is exactly what I want. But my mom want do it again because it doesn't stay long and its heat on my hair. Is there a way I can stretch out my hair again so my flat top can be taller without heat? And will it be something I can do myself or would I have to ask my mom?

Every "No Heat Blowout" title is misleading ... Every vid i watch that says that be bogus :/ they're all simply just combed out/finger detangled old styles (wash n gos, twist/braid outs and etc..) How can i achieve one on freshly washed hair?! Or is that simply just impossible?
@StarlessTerrace9 жыл бұрын
African thread while wet, let it dry, and comb it out. See this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2S6p4ynmaiFndU Or braid in 8 chunky braids after washing, let it dry, comb it out.
@jmonroe18249 жыл бұрын
StarlessTerrace thanks!
@mycerdiadukes90139 жыл бұрын
+Zae Jackson That's what a "No heat" or "heat-less" blowout is. Combed out/finger De-tangled old styles and the like. Or you can do one of the above on freshly shampooed hair; IF your hair dries in a timely manner for you to do so. A blow-out simply means big hair.....
@Shawnmyrelle7 жыл бұрын
Zae Jackson why did you say thanks to that comment that explains doing the exact same thing that Whit just showed us in the video, but grouped the video with bogus no-heat blow out tutorials? Sometimes I think people come to hate just because.
