Yess. I have purchased gadgets for hair, skin, etc. Any product/gadget that uses water needs distilled water . Like an iron or humidifier to reduce the hard water/scale/mineral deposits from building up. However, yes, my mother taught me years ago to use a "white vinegar & water" mixture at least once a month. Run it through the Iron, Humidifiers, Keurig Coffee machine, and other coffee machines. I actually use my filtered water instead of distilled.

I had such a bad experience with this. The gel came out fine. I followed the instruction to the T. The application was not good. I put a leave in conditioner under. Are you supposed to? It began to clump up during application and form these Bugar like balls on my hair also when it dried you can literally see pockets of glue streaks. So bad I had to wash it out and that’s the last thing I want to go to fragile hair is wash it over and over.

Coconut oil clogs pores so it’s not good to put on your scalp, only the ends of your hair strand where it’s dry and needs moisture, also you only use it once a week or every 2 weeks, leave it in for 30 min to one hour then wash that’s it. I put a couple of drops of lavender and tea tree oil into my shampoo for healthy scalp and strong follicles.

How do you stop it from flaking if using it alone?
