I like using transient sounds as it allows so much more power to them without the voice coil just slowly getting heat exhaustion. You can get your "back to the future" moment with the guitar amp.

@@jamescollins6085 when i was younger, i loved to push in Speaker dustcaps... i broke the dustcaps from my dad's two 15" woofers and the tweeters from a pair of stereo speakers completely and a lot more... Me today: A couple weeks ago, i dissasemblyed my bluetooth speaker (Jbl Xtreme), and i accidentally pushed the speakerdustcaps in... it was like a Deja vu or something...😂

also ive had a set of the same phillips speakers and unless im not mistaken they have a high pass on the mids as well as the tweeters (unless they dont because piezo) which explains them moving more on the high toms and snare than low toms and kick

Audio newb: How are you driving all these different speakers with different wires, impedances etc , hot-wiring them straight to the mixer output? Does the mixer have speaker terminal connectors? (I only have a small Mackie mixer, am noob). Thanks. Great distortion before they blow btw!
