Lisa, very touching. Your interviews were spot on and so interesting, for a moment, I thought you were going to get to use some of that machinery and build something!!! 😁🙄Even that little 8 year old was so brave to be filmed in an interview. Shaun's account near the end was very touching, brought tears to my eyes. I too lost my father in 2011 and my mother in 2018. My father was seven years older than my mom but both of them passed away at 76 years of age. I'm 61 and I miss them every day. My middle school students tell me I look like I'm 35-45 (I appreciate their kindness!!) Continue to cherish every moment you can with your parents. Your father must be so proud of your travels and 'documentaries' on the very subject he loves so much - trains. Lisa, I hope you have a very Happy New Year 🧨🧨🎉🎉🎇🎇and with so many adventures yet to be experienced. I look forward to following you in these adventures!! Stay safe and enjoy this time in your life. Life is all about the experiences and memories.

What a very heartfelt message... thank you. Knock on wood, my entire immediate family is healthy and alive, and more and more each day, I don't take that for granted. A guy I knew in high school just died a couple weeks ago, in fact. I've been working on new rituals and life choices to really live life to the fullest, be healthier, and with inner peace. And I'm so sorry that you don't have your parents. I will have to talk to my dad some more about his thoughts and I'm not sure if he's seen this episode yet, but yes, I know he loves that he and I share this interest and appreciated when I worked with him in his store some during the last four years.

@@LisaKEntertainment 😊High School was/is a marker in our lives and when someone you knew passes away from those years, it hits you pretty hard and like you said above, you try to live life to the fullest with as few regrets as possible. I've known some people who passed away while in their 20's (health related issues) so you're right, you can't take your life for granted as tomorrow is not guaranteed us. You just keep doing what you're doing, you are touching lots of people's hearts. 😊👍

The 8 year old that you interviewed felt like he was the luckiest kid on earth. I’d love to come home from school with the opportunity to ride miniature trains before dinner. At 5:11 I couldn’t help but notice that the diesel engine stored in the bottom left corner shared a similar resemblance to Thomas The Tank Engine from its bright blue paint scheme and the bright red underlining. With speaking of which, the woman who helped bring Thomas to the tv screens including introducing him to you Americans via a program called Shining Time Station has unfortunately passed away not too long ago. If it weren’t for her, not only Thomas wouldn’t be a household name he is today but we would’ve never had a whole new generation of people getting involved with heritage railroading. And that’s something we have to remind ourselves about when we go to these places where steam engines still shines.
