I think you may have hit the nail on the head here Mr Mel. That can explain a lot of the issues we have been facing. Sure the ICE controllers may have had substanard FETS but NOT everyone experieced issues. And also explains why the more expensive ESCS can handle the triple loads even with a bad connection. Thanks for that!

You're basically single phasing the motor which causes extremely high current spikes. Good video!
