Its not about reading though, as the interaction doesn't make sense at all. "When, during combat, 1 ally takes damage that would kill them, consume 2 Coffin to apply Wild Hunt to them (2 times per turn)" Faust isn't taking damage that kills her, she is just dying. Either the passive isn't correct wording or its code jank with how self death works, but either way it seems unintentional.
