Lil Yachty really blew up in 2016 when mumble rap started taking over, some saw him as the face of mumble rap for a while. His first song that really blew up was “One Night”. He didn’t really rap about gangs, drugs, and violence as much so he was very advertiser friendly and got a lot of brand deals, his biggest one was with Target, it came out that he had made $13 million in a year. “Oprah’s Bank Account” was his latest hit. Some other of his big songs are, Broccoli, iSpy, Peek a Boo. Also the 2016 XXL Freshman Cyper.

When rappers write, they're counting their syllables for each bar so they know that they are on beat. But sometimes you can be offbeat even though you have, for example, 15syllables /bar. But that problem is solved just by writing to the instrumental. But to answer your question, lyrically skilled rappers are real picky with their words. Every syllable is counted and are there for a reason.

No, he wasn't talking bout the YT review commentators like you guys. That was about his beef with The Source. If I remember correctly this was the first release off Kamikaze and he slapped back at everyone who has slighted him in the past that he took personally. I admit his last two albums before this were just average. He was going through the process of sobriety and figuring out well you know if you've gone through addiction and recovery. I've seen plenty of reaction creators. I like you two. You seem to be honest and sincere with no agenda. Earned a sub.

I'm not sure if you guys have done this band, or heard of them before, but I implore you to check out "Ice Nine Kills". Their brand of metal is unique in that most of their songs are based off of novels ("Every trick in the book" album) or off horror movies ("The silver scream" album). If you guys are at all interested in a concept like that, I recommend starting with "Enjoy your slay". This song is about "The Shining" and even features Sam Kubrick as a vocalist, grandson of Stanley Kubrick, the director of The Shining. Hope you guys see this! Been loving the reactions.

eminem and artist who can write lyrics like him are truly critical thinkers and there's a lot of "mathamatics" in writing like this. There's certain syllable counts and concepts of approaching the writing process to be able to craft the various flows to compliment the instrumental. Two things going on at once, they're crafting those verses "mathamatically" while at the same time making sure they're able to put them together in a melodic way that still makes cognitive sense. So much more to this (being a lyricist) as apposed to an average rapper.

Kala brown was a girl who was kidnapped and she was chained when the police arrived so "off the chain", she also responded when media approached her and said its a good lyric to rhyme with. I think this part is interesting "you will never see Em icy but as cold I get on the M-I-C, I polarise(polar(the coldest region of Earth) -ice) shit, so the Temps(short for temperature)/Thames(river Thames in England has not frozen since the '60s) might freeze." Also notice at the part where he says "I am harder on myself" you will feel he is harder on himself as he goes on and where he says "couldn't bottle this shit any longer" cause he is overflowing with his skill set. the last verse was about trump he did a BET cypher in 2017, and secret service did came to his studio when he was recording. but he doesn'y gives a fuck and said "I ain't Ironing shit with the press" and its a double entendre too. there are many bars in this one song, I won't be writing them all here though lol, but you might wanna check out a youtube channel called "unbashedly Reggie" he breaks down all of Eminem' lyrics.

The reason you guys like the words in hip hop over metal when it gets like that is yes because you can hear it better, but youre also focused solely on all the words and meaning beyond rocking to the beat even if you are nodding your head. Not only that but with Em, he literally rhymes syllables instead of just the last word of basic bitch rapping and mumblers do if they even bother. So it is just so verbally pleasing to the ear.
