Really have enjoyed watching this bed over the growing season. I have found sometimes that perennials will often produce a better second flush of blooms during the first season when they are planted.

Hi Heidi, thanks for the update, the fall colours look fabulous! I'm in zone 5 Ottawa Canada. I just cut back my yarrow to about 3 inches. I'm worried I killed it by cutting it back so severely. Am I right?

You should be fine with the trim you did.

Loved to see your enthusiasm for all the beautiful colour that's still/again popping in your flower bed. So gorgeous and "I need that one, and that one" lol but I live in Canada so can't order through you. Will be on the lookout for some of those in my area. Thanks for sharing such an informative and enjoyable video!

Wow, are you doing anything different on the fertilizing or watering to get all those blooms for October? I’m really impressed!
@gardencrossings2 ай бұрын
No, nothing different than any other year or garden. It just has been a warm fall and that helps

I Iove this videos!!! I have to comment on Rudbeckia ( Mega Millions) this plant is amazing blooming I love this plant, I bought one of this plant at proven winners website! I love it for some reasons no nursery have it ,there’s no were to be find I email proven winners and they have said is sold out I leave in zone 7 and is the end of October and still blooming 😘
@gardencrossings2 ай бұрын
I have heard some no good things about Mega Millions. There is a new Rudbeckia coming out that is far superior from what I have been told by PW
@Kattaltam-v4i2 ай бұрын
@@gardencrossings really!! I’m not sure maybe the weather, because in here we haven’t got much rain and it look amazing even though is a young plant, I love black eye Susan and this plant looks a lot of like , for some reason every time I try to grow Rudbeckia it ended up having very bad black spots ( American gold Rush) I was told this was a good variety 😳not for me

Hi Heidi, love all those Bloomables, especially the Penstemon, Agastache and Echinaceas. Is this company part of PW or Walter's Gardens?
@gardencrossings2 ай бұрын
No, the Bloomables line is a different brand. We do sell them under our Proven Selections program as well.
