i'm a 67 year old guy from the US. i've listened to this performance more times than i can count. and i get the same goosebumps and teary eyes every time i hear it. it's truly a shame that they don't get radio play in the US.

"They are pretty new" :D well, they've been around since 2005 and officially with a big label since 2007. :) They have had multiple chart topping albums in Japan and they fill arenas around the globe.

ONE OK ROCK has a way of evoking emotions. They're really good at it. Check out "We are" at Ambitions Japan Dome Tour. I would say they're one of the most versatile bands out there. They've got songs like this that just hit you in the feels, songs that will make you headbang, and everything in between. The band will be coming to LA at the Kia Forum on October 23. They've never headlined an arena outside of Asia so this is quite a milestone for them and if you liked what you heard from this one video, you'll definitely want to go see them live. They are just so good and so talented. It really is a shame that they aren't as well known yet outside Asia but I'm confident their time will come. Please listen to a few more songs and if you decide that their music is for you, definitely consider attending their concert in October. It's gonna be 🔥🔥🔥

But trust me, I know it sounds like i am overreacting(?), but the reaction that happens to you when you listen to them for the first time has happened to me before🤣 and i don't understand why this always happens when I see the LIVE VERSION of their song. And the most important is that u have to see/find the LIVE VERSION, cause the crowd participation is like their fifth member and you can see their emotions especially the lead singer.

They’re awesome. React to We Are from the same gig. Clock Strike from Luxury Disease Tour 2023 is a must, you might want a stopwatch!!. Their new song Delusion:All which came out on 12th July is excellent. They are in the US and Canadian October. Next year will be their 20th Anniversary. The lead singer Taka is 36 and does an amazing cover of Hello by Adele. Enjoy the ride.

Fun fact about the silence, it was a moment of silence for Chester Bennington. They were good friends and Taka even flew out to sing at Chester's memorial concert. They were supposed to go on tour together the year Chester passed :( You guys picked the best one to get introduced to the band with haha. But to echo the others, We Are from the Yokohama Stadium tour is super good, other songs to consider is Clock Strikes, Deeper Deeper, Cry out, if you like more heavy, and Wasted Nights, Stand Out Fit In, Renegades, for a deep message, as well as Be the Light which is made for the Tsunami survivors during the Fukushima earthquake.
