Between you, and a few other you other KZbinrs, I have finally gotten the motivation to clean my truck back up and start to do some newer modifications to it. I used to love doing stuff to my truck, but I ended up just starting to see it as my work vehicle. Watching this stuff makes me want to get out there and start working on it again. You guys have already convinced me to fabricate up a set of traction bars for my truck. I get some pretty bad axle wrap while towing, even with the truck being mostly stock. Thanks for the motivation, and keep up with the great videos!

I'm really impressed on how much you guys have it cleaned up instead of gigantic coal clouds. it was actually pretty lean on launch compared to a lot of built diesels. just shows that you took the time to tune it instead of just dumping loads of fuel

I'm no expert, but some people still use the cooling system, just they relocate the radiator typically to the rear of the truck with electric fans, like you see on trophy trucks, to open up some room for more turbos.

Henrick Henry a lot of guys run concrete filled blocks. they fill the coolant passages with concrete to strengthen the block, so they can't run a cooling system anymore

straight iron block with no coolant passages, huge increase in strength and since these things only run minutes at a time there is no need for coolant. hope that helps

On a cummins (at least on my 6.7 block) coolant cools the cylinder sleeves. Humm, I will look into this. Maybe its a race only setup?

In one of Greg's previous videos covering this truck, they said if memory serves me right, that they put block filler in it to help strengthen the block. But, unfortunately it doesn't look like it helped in some areas.

diesels are so touchy it seems. it's hard to find a balance point with power, drivability, reliability etc and still have an animal of a truck. I don't know what I'd do if I had that much money into a motor and one pass and all gone lol. name of the game I guess. I couldn't afford a new motor for my truck so it's hard to know when to stop with modifications.
