Those people dragging bags across the beach are catching beach worms. The bag has fish in it, the worms pop their head out of the sand when they smell it and then you grab them and pull them out. It's an art form and easier said than done. Another great episode guys. Safe travels

Yea we do have a plug kit but it's unsafe to plug a sidewall, cape york damaged the vans suspension so that's what started the bad tyre wear, we've since allighned it but tyres just love to keep wearing. Your too right, the ranger is part of who we are now! Always nice to hear from you mate! ❤️

@@lilandjake Bugger, that's annoying with the tyre wear. I totally understand it is unsafe to plug a sidewall as a permanent repair but as a temporary repair it can make the difference to getting out or not if you run out of spares. 😉 Cheers

The taste testing at the water crossings 😂😂. How amazing is K’Gari ❤️. I went at a dumb time by mistake, school holidays !! I counted over 100 cars at Eli Creek, Lake Mckenzie looked like Bondi Beach, and the queue at that bakery went way way out the door. Still loved it though, will def go back at a more sensible time 😂.

Damn - thank you!! You’re going to have the best time, we could have stayed a month it was that epic. You don’t need to book the inskip ferry which I assume is the one you’ll be taking from the south! As for the camps, some you can definitely book over there but if you want to stay at Awinya for example, I’d definitely recommend booking that soon because it’s so popular and it’ll definitely book out. But on the east, there are heaps of camps and if you’re with Telstra we had quite a bit of reception over there so you can be more flexible and book while you’re there.

Top one guys, the white sand is incredible. Yeah I hate salt too, my Prado spent years around there (previous owner) but they rust proofed it at Rainbow beach (twice).(I haven't been there) I've got the scratches down the left side to tell their story. But the right side is perfect. You know if that Island was someplace else US perhaps they'd plonk a casino and huge hotels on it. Good on you Parks people for keeping it fresh. There's snakes there by the way. There's a warning utube about that place sayin it's dangerous. I watched another utuber getting Manta shrimps up nth Qld from holes along the shore.
