Something that helps with welding a large chunk of metal like that is to heat the work up before welding it. Welding a large piece while it is cold will allow the heat from the weld to dissipate quickly in your work and weaken the weld. It will also make the welding process easier in general. Hope this helps.😊

Dragging the file backwards across the work piece is a good way to dull your file.

Depends what you mean by dragging. Let the pressure off on your back stroke vs trying to remove metal. Keeping your file on the workpiece will typically result in keeping a more consistent angle. Filing machines drag the files on the back stroke. We have them at work with 10 year old files on 304SS and they still cut almost like new. Just my 2 cents.

@@coreysheets4862 the problem is they don’t cut on the back stroke, but they still wear the teeth, especially if the work piece is hardened. Pressure or not, it’s bad form. Filing machines are few and far between, but their teeth and profiles are made for that purpose.

Дырок наоставлял, границы окраски (и грунтовки!) видно, к тому же, они кривые, капец! Это без учёта того, что варить надо учиться, и полировать металл после 320й наждачки - ну такое...

Покраска всё портит.. краски перелил и цвет неудачный. В реале может и ничего смотрится, но на видео лучще светлые тона.
