Why didn't you connect cable directly to switch but made elecctric tape joint?

Great job! One question, that black end piece you built up the corner what did you use to do that? I have a project I'm going to do that I have to repair a place one it cause I cannot get the piece anywhere.

it looks like it`s epoxy you can buy in a ready to mix twocomponent tupe

Nice effort but I think it is assembled wrong. A hammer drill does more hammering then turning. And since the drill bit seems off center and wobbling, I think you need to get a break down of that tool and reassemble it. But nice effort anyway...
