*About 'Direction (acoustic)'* Direction (acoustic) was written for the times where we find ourselves asking “what now”? Life has a way of bringing us through a journey of experiences that cause us to question our future. From loss, sickness, heartbreak, failure, overwhelming feelings, and uncertain times. It can be hard to see the good in what is to come. The prayer for this song is to lead people to THE answer to the question “what now”? The world gives you temporary fixes but there is one solution that I know that can give you everlasting direction. HE IS the answer, and His name is Jesus. I know that He has brought me out of so many situations and guided me back to hope. So, I tell myself if He did it for me than I know He can do it for others. So, what now? I say look up to the heavens and know that He is listening, Christ is more than a “feeling” He is our “direction”. - Melody

Melody, I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but I want you to know that last week I was going for a walk and I listened to your album “Process.” I can’t seem to comment on any of the songs there, but I just want to thank you for your transparency and your vulnerability, the creativity that God has given you, the gift and the skills to nurture that gift. Your voice is amazing; a beautiful vessel of truth. Girl! How aptly were you named!? 😁 Thank you for your music and your ministry. I work for a ministry that’s mission is bringing girls into a living dynamic relationship with Jesus. Not just knowing of or about him, but knowing Him, and to see them actively and enthusiastically living out their faith. This is so ridiculously relevant and for such a time as this.
