That is some slinky bass playing. Super impressive to be singing while playing a line that involved. I love the little envelope filter guitar accents in the chorus/refrain bit. Those add to the slinky vibe of the song. Whole track is vibey AF. The algorithm knew I'd dig this.

When I saw two band members, with one on bass and one on drums, playing a song titled “Figure it Out”, I fully expected a Royal Blood cover. This has to be either a joke, or a massive coincidence.

Totally agree. I mean, drum & bass with the title Figure it out.. Was surprised it wasn’t a Royal Blood cover. Pretty much the same thing if a thrash metal band would call release a song called Enter Sandman loll.

Loving this @Blu DeTiger. Been on a journey featuring female leads rnb influenced pop. I'm calling it esoteric pop and it's kind of a new genra. It's still everyone's little secret. You see the comment alot "Torn between wanting to share or stash it" My journey took a sweet tune when I hoped over here. The genra is evolving for sure. I don't even think most of the artists are aware of there being a space their tones and such fit right it. It's getting populated but I bet most of these people don't know of each other at first. It remind me of the history of punk or grunge. There was no scene it was isolated groups inventing new rock music CBGB didn't incubate punk it just featured it. There is a virtual scene on an ethereal plane. Maybe a scene will grow or group up out of it. Each artists work is unique it does all combine synths and rock n roll instruments and perhaps the artists have similar back grounds. Been tryin to say hi and give props before y'all are flooded with fame.

I like how, at 1:39, Blu digs into the G-G# gliss probably a little harder than she meant to as she jumped down from that platform, but that makes it real. Yes, this song is stuck in my head on a frequent basis. Great groove and great tone getting pulled out of that bass.

It doesn't always have to be about the flashiest and who's the best. Too many of you missed the point entirely.
