Great to see ya’ll! I was multi-tasking around the apartment, rapping along (to the verses I do have down) with the home theater going. But when Jimetta Rose joined in...DAMM! I just stood and watched for the final two cuts. Having moved up North to Portland after a lifetime in the South Bay and plenty of time across the Golden State. I find myself turning to your projects as often as any other when I’m missing home. Always leaves me with my head bobbing reading along to lyrics and feeling great after. Give me Flowers, Blu with Oh No, Exile’s beats.... I love when Blu writes about the past. I kept hearing perspectives, events, artists and people referenced that were just too on point with my own timeline growing up....sure enough; wiki says you’re 2 months older. Been a fan for over a decade but just realized that. Way to go young G 🙂 Not to rank or compare, but Evidence and Alchemists projects come to mind as leaving me feeling a similar positivity without straying away from genuine and honest lyrics. This was great. Thanks to Record Box for hosting; support your local record stores that do cool shit (when and if it’s possible) located on Pacific @ w 10th St in Downtown Long Beach.

Don't know why it took me a couple of plays of Miles for it to grow on me, suppose my 'ears had to readjust', but now I feel like it almost steps to Below the Heavens. Not for us who have nostalgia and personal development linked with BTH, but in the sense that to some younger truheads this might hit like BTH. Don't get it twisted though, me saying "almost steps to BTH" is the highest of praise I can muster, I don't usually even put shit in the same category.
