BLU, FASHAWN, AND EXILE AT RHYMEFEST 2024!

It was a pleasure to finally interview some of my indie rap heroes from the west coast! Blu, Exile, and Fashawn. Blu and exile shared that they have an upcoming album called Love the ominous world coming out 9/20 as well as reflecting on their critically acclaimed debut album Below the Heavens (2007). Fashawn spoke on his experience rapping alongside Lil Wayne on his Grizzly City 3 mixtape (2009).
Definitely an honor and privilege to chop it up with these brothas and learn their creative process behind some of my favorite songs!
