You can take those tapes to a camera shop and have them converted to DVD. But you have to find a camera shop that can do that for you. I was able to do that in Camarillo CA. I'm not sure they're still there though.

Brandon, what might help you out is if you can find places that do AV tape Tranfers studios/houses.

you can get a mini dv to vhs converter so itll play on your normal vcr and you can transfer em over ❤

That is so cool that you’re doing that for your family. I wonder if they have something where it looks like the VHS tape that your mini tape can fit into and then you can transfer it that way someone will have the answer!

Can't you just use a cassette adaptor to put those tapes in and transfer from VCR to your computer? Look into it. I have 100's of those small tapes as well and have a cassette adapter and I am able to watch them easy enough. A quick search shows they are readily available for about $30.

If you can’t find the camera you need to transfer the tapes, try Legacy Box, may be your last resort, and hopefully at a price you can afford.
