A truly glorious literary fiction-made more real perhaps than reality itself by the sheer dedication and wit of those involved. A tulpa indeed!

I worked at a print shop and to pass the time me and a friend would dream up books and stories, one by A. Dewey called The Swan Factor was a favorite.

Say, does anyone happen to know where I could procure a copy of Dr John Harvey Kellogg's "Disposal of Slops," so fortuitously alluded to by Roger Dobson in his letter to The Independent (at about 8:53)? It sounds like a delectable read, although it goes without saying that it could not possibly surpass in gustatory value the collected oeuvre of Chapman W. Blubberhouse himself!

I wouldn't bother, it is merely an early stab-in-the-dark compared to the subsequent, and far superior, _The Crippled Colon._

Nonsense

All absolute nonsense, but all absolutely true. (I have all the letters, as well as the newspaper cuttings and books Blubberhouse appeared in.)
