I remember watching this masterpiece on my old windows XP pc when I was like 5, I can't remember how old I exactly was, but I was very young. This film had become such a core memory that I still remember it till this day, and somehow I came here and watched it again today. I'm 18 now. And I think it's safe to say that no film will ever take the place that this one holds in my heart.

Every little boy has had this dream. Of beeping robots or rowdy pirates sailing by the stars, or cowboys on white horses or courageous jungle explorers having wild adventures, imagination by day and dreams at night the action never stops. I'm sure all children have some variation on the theme, but little boys still deserve some dreams of their own.

This is brilliant. A pure joy to behold. Simple and thought provoking. Loved the animation, wonderful sound track, perfect pacing. Starting at 4:35, Blue's eyes were so expressive and continued throughout the story, which for me , perfectly suggested an obvious level of sentience. Modern writers and movie makers (especially Disney) should watch this continuously to try and rediscover their heart. But ultimately it was about a little boy's imagination, fears and dreams.

Poor blue, with his big innocent eyes. What did he do wrong to deserve being punched and shot at? When he was in pain and bleeding, dying, I felt so sad and angry and then was flabbergasted right after what followed. A huge thumbs up to the filmmakers!

Great little plot right up to the end. Probably the best of over a 100 of these short sci-fi videos I've watched. It doesn't take itself too seriously at any point, and yet, "resistance is futile" in the larger picture.

Nice, fun film. Q: Why do robots "blink"? lol. (I know-to make them seem more human and less scary-it's called personification. Just an observation.) People don't realize how difficult it is to make a film without any dialogue and still be able to get the concept across. I know this is a bit older, so I hope you have had much success!
