I think that nods to the fact that Hoshino’s style of combat would be to get up close and personal to take down an enemy. While Hina is spray and pray, to which she tries to overwhelm Hoshino from afar. Because let’s face it, Hoshino’s probably gonna bury her if she gets too close.
