Saori really needs sensei as a legal guardian for this. It's very cute though as she learns how to adjust to a 'regular' job. _Saori working at a Convenience store would be amusing though._

Technically since she’s not under contract, there’s nothing extra to stop her from leveling the building.

Tbh, I think you could sue someone for no paying you even without contracts as long as there is messages or anything that can serves as proof of foulplay and all that's left is to convince the judge and jury that you were scammed

Yeah that would work, but this is a black market contract, with an employee that can’t turn to traditional law for help.

Also, from what I remember from my high-school law class, there are three different types of contracts. 1)Written&signed 2)Verbal 3)Non-verbal not written. The first is the classic contract, no news here. The second contract is a verbal agreement between two parties, ex. Going to a bar, asking for a cup of coffee and then paying; a second example would be the agreement between Saori and the manager, as long as she had a registered vocal of the agreement she could win a legal battle because otherwise it would become a ‘he said, she said’ situation. The third type of contract is one between two parties that is formed through actions and intentions, without either vocalizing or writing it, ex. When you go to the grocery store and buy groceries. The only communication is about the total cost of the groceries. Then again I’m no lawyer….
