Man, what I really like about this event is that it showcases Gehenna's philosophy in a different light than it was normally shown before, as it either focused on showing the Pandemonium Society as incompetent instigators of chaos or the Prefect Team as the only thing preventing the academy from collapsing; but with this event focusing more on the Gehenna mobs themselves (and the gyaru duo as the more rational heads of the group) it shows that while obviously still volatile they don't do it due to purposefully wanting to be chaotic but because they're still a bunch of curious teenagers who have been told to let their own curiosity be their learning compass, and while due to this being Kivotos 9/10 times it ends in explosions you can see in this event the train of thought that the mobs take to end at the explosive results. Also, I really like the initial conversation in the clay workshop where one of the mobs decides to make a tower with arms because it serves as a metaphor to the Gehenna teaching mentality: give a student some clay, teach them the basics of how to work with it, then step back and see what happens when their own creativity flows; yes, it may sometimes end up with white phosporous mixed in the clay, but if you can get an edgy nonsense abstract tower sculpture born fully from the own mind of the student then it was worth the attempt.

As someone studying project management, Sumika's stress hurts me on a personal level.

It really is painful... this is such a huge reason why I adore this game's story, as they manage to make it so relatable to real world struggles that we face!! I hope that your studies go well, and that you're able to get some much needed rest!

@@yumietsuchinoko The biggest lesson I need to learn right now is to not take grades so seriously because creativity and school do not mix for many people, and a less than perfect grade doesn't mean I'm going to be a horrible game dev.

Imagine booting up BA for the first after seeing characters like Toki or Hina, then you see GYARU and think WHEN DO WE GET GYARU?! That’s me. I’ve been wondering who is this gyaru for a year. Finally I can say save me Gehenna gyaru, save me Kirara.

I've been swamped with work and have barely had time to touch BA recently. Yumie, your event streams are basically the only way I can keep up BA lore atm. Thanks very much. Another event, another three hours of Yumie voice acting on the fly. There's times in your streams where your delivery really grabs my attention. Like, "Damn, Yumie REALLY nailed that line." It's been great seeing your enthusiasm for these streams build your skills. I feel like this event really highlighted how the students embody the nature of their academies. Hyakkiyako students have a variety of interests and areas of cultural expertise fitting the school of festivals, and Gehenna students were a rowdy bunch of mischievous imps, causing chaos in the name of a good time. It was a beautiful crossover. We've met the gyaru's briefly before in the Hina piano event, and I was genuinely surprised at how infectiously supportive and positive they were. Here we get a lot more of them and it's just pure wholesomeness. I expected cheerful, but damn, they're like a two woman cheer squad. Great stream Yumie. I'm so stoked for Spooktober.
