For a regular truck wash I would give that an A+. To get those bugs and a better grade of wax would need a detail which would cost at least 10x more. I think the sun is harder on the spray wax than rain. You could have also offered a big tip to the wash supervisor to pay special attention to bugs on the front and to hand wash the wheel wells. Another extra is seeing if you can get one of the guys to open all the doors to take a wet and dry rag around all the edges if they will. It's what I do when I can't do it myself. Also never let them do the top. It only takes a second with a strong hose to make all sorts of leaks and then when you drive off all that soapy/dirty water will run down the sides. You guys are still young. The best bet is to tool up and do it yourself when you get to your destination. To save water and not get so many spots I like to either wash it at night or when it's raining.

My father owns an RV and he found its easier to invest in cleaning supplies and equipment that risk those washes. Was a great video to watch and it's been fun keeping up with your adventures. Can't wait for the next one! =]

There's a reason we truckers call it the streaking beacon. You can tell them you want it brushed washed.

We have had ours done at Blue Beacon and never had a problem. Our last time we had a $2 million Newell in front of us. I've used them for years when I drove otr and never had a problem. I'll keep using them.

Ha, we would have enjoyed the freedom of washing it where you were staying. We knew exactly where you were, we park in that same site when we visit there. Always a fun time.

Hey guys, you have great patience! Not sure if you figured out the mechanical problem with your coach....but it is most likely the DEF head sensor. It is a known problem right now. My coach is sitting at home right now...waiting to have it replaced. You need to get a generation 6 DEF head.

Nice... Interesting experience. So, curious how much the car wash added to the total wash price of $104? Not sure if I understood or saw in the video, do they towel dry the RV as well or does it simply drip dry? Looks great all shined up though!

$40 for my 24’ motorhome, basic wash. Towel dry, rainX are extra. You can ask them to not use the acid.

They use DI water deionized water to prevent water spots it softens the water and allows the soap to sink in a dissolve the grime and allow it to float to the surface and off the vehicle the only thing it won’t touch is grease especially water proof grease that so many 18 wheelers use on the fifth wheel. You should really try to go in at night when most big rigs are rolling and not sitting, weekends are bad also Friday Saturday and Sunday trucks are landing for the weekend or preparing to take off for the first delivery of the week on Monday. The truck washes are open 24/7/365 even in cold climates, I see you guys are snow birds so the ones below the freeze line are especially busy. Tip the guys first asking them to use fresh microfiber brushes (keeping out grease’s) .

Im guessing when they asked if you wanted 'brightener' you said sure....but that is a mild acid and is good for bare aluminum on semi trucks but you should NOT have brightener used on a nice motorhome.

Took our 2019 Dutch Star for a wash in El Paso. The guy doing the tires knocked two tire pressure sensors off and they broke. Corporate said it wasn't their fault. Their corporate motto is Deny, Deny, Deny. Lesson learned. Don't go to Blue Beacon.

Wow. I think every motorhome you bought you have problems with and then you trade it for another problem motor home. What gives ? I am thinking about buying a motorhome but very scared too with all the problems you have and with different ones .

Dont take this the wrong way. Im not chastising you for doing these videos. You seem like a nice pleasant couple but imo anyone who complains even a little about "problems" when they are driving around the country in a $500000 RV seems a little trivial. Kudos to you for being at the point in your life where you can afford to have this lifestyle but there are so many people who live day to day and never complain. Again, just my honest opinion.
