Hi Wendy, I am a new subscriber and to resin Painting so dont know a whole lot about it. I love your paintings! you make it look so easy. I tryed 3 or 4 bling paintings with reain but my bling doesn't seem to go in the ice cycle lines I dont know if I'm putting to much on. or the resin isn't on right or how do u make your bling stay in the icecyiles? dont look like a blob.

I have seen others that have spray painted their canvas but the way you paint yours really makes a difference and your pieces turn out gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing. Just curious have you ever tried using resin on the whole piece before adding the glass? Just wondering if the resin shine would be too much or what it would look like. Thanks

Hi Christine! Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 I haven’t used resin that way. Part of the reason is my Scottie dog is very sensitive to the fumes - even when I use it in the garage, so I try staying away from using it in large quantities. I bet it would look stunning, though!

Hi Tami, thanks so much for watching 😃🇨🇦❤️ yes, right on the canvas, but I do like to mist my canvas and brushes with a bit of water. Sometimes I use Flotrol to condition my paints but not very often - depends on how thick they are. This isn’t a Dutch pour so not necessary

Hi Jana! Thank you so much for your kind words 😊 I will be doing these in different colours to give everyone a different look 😉 A few ladies have asked for purple. If you go to my black and white video, you’ll see that I had to make a weeee fix at the end using Mod Podge to adhere more crushed glass and glitter. You can also use resin. Stay well and God bless!

Do you spray the finished product with a sealer of some sort? since especially after awhile it would get dusty in between the glass. Thank you. I am just a beginner but I am going to try my hand at this one in particular since I love the colors and it goes with my walls and decor in my home.

Please help I was trying to do this art tutorial but I used tri art Liquid glass cell flowAnd it will not dry can I use a clear gloss spray adhesive over top of all the glass and glitter?

Hi Christine. I believe you used tri-art cell flow medium - which isn’t liquid glass. The cell flow medium is used like any other brands for making cells in pour paintings. It’s oily, right? Sorry, hon, but I don’t think a spray adhesive will help, assuming you put a fair amount on your painting thinking it was going to dry hard 😢 l don’t know the exact situation you’re in with your painting, but are you able to carefully remove the glass and glitter and wipe off the cell medium and at least save your painting? I’ve uploaded a few videos recently using Elmers clear glue that works as an alternative to the liquid glass for viewers who can’t get it or shipping costs are too expensive. Also, if you can remove it, I’d try and wash it so I could at least save the crushed glass - maybe soak in a bowl of soapy water, rinse and repeat. Please let me know how you make out, and try not to be discouraged - I know because I’ve been there but look for the take away 😘

Hi Pat 😊 I suppose if you were using it to cover a whole piece of painting to give it a glaze effect, you wouldn’t want it to be in a cold room. If you go to tri-art.ca they can answer any questions you may have. I just use it as a strong bond to grab my crushed glass 😃

The liquid glass did not work as glue for me it was called cell flow but it is by tri-art and called liquid glass but it says silicone oil on the bottom

Hi there and thank you so much for watching! That's a tough question to answer. I like using the liquid glass for adhering my crushed glass to canvas because I don't need ventilation and I don't need to use a mask. I live in Canada and cannot get the proper ventilation in the winter time, and my doggo is super sensitive to the resin fumes.

Did you prepare your canvas first? People should see that. Never paint on naked canvas. lol Should be a couple of layers of Gesso, let dry and have fun. I use a ruler for straight lines. Your finished work is beautiful!!

Hi Tami! Thanks for watching. You can use resin but would need proper ventilation and mask and of course follow the guidelines on the resin bottles. I’ve also used Mod Podge. I did a fix up on my black and white canvas video talking about how thick I applied it so most likely wouldn’t need a second coat. Check it out 🙂

Your work is just gorgeous! I would love to imitate your style for my home but I think the beauty would be lost because the lighting is so poor. Having watch several of your videos, it seems your decision to Mod Podge is just about adding shine rather than sealing the project
