20x20 inches, blues on black and white. This is so much fun. Looking forward learning more about my new/old tool, the hairdryer.

📌 If you need an overview to my ingredients and the whole technique, you might want to watch this:
• A complete tutorial of...
📌 My POURING MEDIUM
Behr Dynasty deep base semi-gloss and minwax polycrylic (roughly 3:1) from Home depot
And thinning to the right consistency with JoSonja gloss varnish (Dick blick, jerrys artsarama or Fluidart.co)
fluid-art.co/ for TLP and SUP, Silicone mats, Palette knives etc.
📌 The magic juice/Cell activator is mixed with australian floetrol. (1:1)
paint
The wall paint I use for my PILLOW PAINT is PPG multipro, opened for a few days to thicken it up
----------------------------------------------------------------------
📌 THE SPINNER I'm using is my own design and creation. Every single work step is done by my hands and my table saw (operated by me)
I sell these on my homepage and if you want to up your game and create on big canvases, you seriously should check it out!
DISCLAIMER: It's a tool for serious artists, I always recommend getting a small , cheaper spinner to try if spinning is your thing first. After you've tried other versions, I promise you'll appreciate this guy over all of them if you work with big heavy canvasses and you spin all the time, like me.
For medium and smaller Canvasses, check out my new tiny and mighty Bäby spinner!

Beautiful result! 💙 I tried your recipe for my first attempt at the scoop and drag, and I had a great result. the CA at 1:1 was great because I kept the cells, vs 3:1. 🥰 I'm going to do a blowout next. I've been pouring for 5 years, and I also do resin with pigments and blow using my heat gun. A diff technique. Recently I've come back to acrylics and coating in resin.

This is amazing! The smokey blending of the colors is perfect. I find the hair dryer is more effective than swiping or tilting to get that look, but I don't get much practice!

@@WinterStromArt I just figured it out!! I am a brush artist using acrylics but was trying to be minimal in the paint I was using…. So the pillow paint was more than the paint I was adding. Once I started adding more paint it looked amazing!! Have one drying now. Will send pics!! Thank you!! Your always worried you add to much paint but it is what covers the pillow up!!
