Kerr Dam Blue Cat Stocking, CD Outdoors - Slab Crappies
Met with fishing legend CD Outdoors / @cdoutdoors6989 and he donated a few small catfish to stock in a relative's pond. Lost a nice bass or catfish (some kind of fish) at dam early on the 4lb test line, but used 20 lb line with a fluke, worm, no luck. I found a shad left from a fisherman , put it on the small jig and hooked a small gar temporarily.. what a nice pet it would have made for the pond. Subscibe to CD Outdoors, , linkn below. Bite was slow at the dam, water was not being released.

Thanks so much and glad to see back in the States. That is a bumblebee hummingbird moth look it up and show your kids.. they are pretty cool. That pond is sure loaded with big fish, hopefully I will go up there fairly soon. Those cats will do the pond ecosystem good.

Those crappie were awesome Dave! That’s a giant rod for those catfish 😂 but I know he catches big ones. More cats for the stocking. Nice Dave!

@MeTimeFishing thanks Tony, huge crappie are heavy but don't fight as hard as a similar size bass or catfish. I'm glad that dinky 4 pound line didn't snap at the pond, lost a big one at dam, snapped the line.
